Co-Founder and CEO
Jen is a co-founder and CEO of the KAP Group. Prior to founding KAP, Jen was a Vice President in the Real Estate Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse, responsible for raising capital from institutional investors for private real estate managers globally. Before her distribution role, Jen advised and prepared real estate managers through each stage of the capital raising process, including real estate private fund and joint venture opportunities in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia representing over $5 billion in equity raised. Prior to that, Jen was a founding member of DLJ Strategic Partners, a private equity fund focused on secondary limited partnership opportunities in private funds globally. Jen started her career in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette.
Jen earned a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School, where she continues to be involved in alumni fundraising initiatives. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Jen serves as a Board Member for Civic Builders, a non-profit real estate firm that builds charter schools in underserved areas in and around the Northeast U.S. She is on the Board of Trustees for Sierra Nevada College, and she is also a Board Member of the Harvard Club of Northern Nevada.
Erin Roeder is a Principal of the KAP Group. Prior to joining KAP, Erin served as Vice President at Metropolitan Real Estate Equity Management, which has since been acquired by The Carlyle Group. At Metropolitan, Erin was responsible for articulating the firm’s market view, investment thesis, and competitive advantage and enhancing the firm’s status as a thought leader within the investment community. Before joining Metropolitan, Erin served as Senior Vice President for Neighborhood Development at Trinity Real Estate, a division of the Parish of Trinity Church in New York City. In this capacity, she developed, managed, and began implementing a strategic plan to transform Trinity’s six-million-square-foot commercial portfolio in Manhattan’s Hudson Square neighborhood into a dynamic, mixed-use community. Erin began her career as an Associate Consultant at Bain and Company. Erin received a J.D. from Yale Law School and graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Christina Anzel is a Project Manager at the KAP Group. Prior to joining KAP, Christina was a Managing Director, Head of Product Management and Investor Relations at Ares Management, L.P., a global alternative asset manager with approximately $100 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining Ares in January 2015, Christina worked at Energy Investors Funds (EIF) from 2008 to 2014 as Vice President of the Investor Relations and Marketing group. At both Ares and EIF, Christina served as the primary contact for over 100 limited partners, managing the team responsible for all ongoing client relationships and communications, material generation, and marketing initiatives. At EIF, Christina was instrumental in raising approximately $950 million from existing limited partners for co-investment opportunities and facilitating a $1.7 billion dollar fundraise. Prior to joining EIF, Christina was a Finance Associate in the San Francisco office of Latham & Watkins LLP. She began her legal career as an Associate in the Global Project Finance Department at Milbank Tweed Hadley and McCloy LLP in New York City. Christina received a J.D. and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Haverford College.
Megan Carrington is a Project Manager at the KAP Group. Prior to joining KAP, Megan was a Senior Product Manager at Janus Capital Group where she had primary coverage of Janus’ value equity and global fixed income strategies. Prior to that, Megan worked as an analyst at RK Capital Management, a small-cap U.S. equity hedge fund. Megan began her career at Kirkpatrick, Pettis, Smith, Polian Inc. as a fixed income institutional sales and trading associate. Megan is a CFA Charterholder and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. In addition, Megan earned a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Jessica Hacker is a Project Manager at the KAP Group. Prior to joining KAP, Jessica spent eight years at Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm with approximately $45 billion in assets under management. Most recently, she was an Associate of Fundraising & Investor Relations. In this role, she created marketing collateral and diligence materials to support fundraising efforts for the firm’s flagship growth fund and two companion funds, representing more than $15 billion of institutional capital. Previously, she spent six years as the Senior Information Specialist, where she provided strategic market research services and macroeconomic insights to the firm’s investment professionals. Jessica earned a Master of Library and Information Science from Long Island University, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Finance from Fairfield University, and a B.A. in Social Studies from Ithaca College.
Emily Vavrichek is a Project Manager at the KAP Group. Prior to joining KAP, Emily was Head of Investor Relations and Marketing at KPS Capital Partners LP, a private equity firm with approximately $5.5 billion of capital under management focused on transforming manufacturing and industrial businesses. During her time at KPS, Emily was responsible for fundraising, investor relations and managing the firm’s marketing and communications efforts. Prior to joining KPS, Emily was a Senior Associate at Atlantic-Pacific Capital and an Associate in the Private Fund Group at Credit Suisse. During her time at Atlantic-Pacific Capital and Credit Suisse, Emily advised and prepared private equity managers through each stage of the capital raising process. She worked on over fifteen global private equity fundraisings, representing approximately $15 billion in equity capital raised. Emily graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.
